Term & Condition

By placing a pickup order with Soak Laundry, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Pickup and Delivery
• Pickup and delivery services are subject to availability and serviceable areas.
• Customers must ensure someone is available at the pickup and delivery location during the scheduled time.
• If our delivery personnel cannot reach you after [10 minutes of waiting time], the pickup will be rescheduled, and a rescheduling fee may apply.
• Any changes to the pickup/delivery address or time must be informed at least [2 hours] in advance.

2. Garment Inspection
• We conduct a basic inspection of garments during check-in; however, we do not guarantee identification of all pre-existing damages.
• Please inform our staff of any special instructions, stains, or fabric issues in advance.

3. Liability
While we take utmost care in handling your garments, Soak Laundry is not liable for:
o Normal wear and tear, shrinkage, or color bleeding.
o Damage caused by the inherent defect of the item.
o Missing or damaged items not reported within 24 hours of delivery.
4. Lost or Unclaimed Items
• Items not claimed or delivered due to customer unavailability within 30 days from pickup will be considered abandoned and may be donated or disposed of.

5. Service Timelines
• Standard turnaround time is [48–72 hours]. Delays due to high volume, holidays, or special items will be communicated.

6. Payments
• Payments can be made online or via cash/card on delivery.
• Orders must be fully paid before delivery. Outstanding payments may result in delivery being withheld.

7. Cancellation and Refunds
• Orders can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 1 hour before scheduled pickup at no charge.
• Once processing has begun, refunds are not applicable.

8. Customer Responsibilities
• Verify all items at the time of delivery.
• Avoid leaving valuables or non-laundry items in pockets; we are not responsible for damage caused due to such items.

9. Privacy Policy
• Customer data is handled securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or to complete service fulfillment.

10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes, if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of Gorakhpur courts.

By scheduling a pickup, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
